Very black faint light sneaking through, nice creamy rich head.
Nose light roasty black malts, no chocolate, dark caramel and little char, earthy spicy hops.
Taste starts with sweet malts, creamy cocoa and black malt, no real roast but a little char, plenty of dark caramel malts, and roast kicks in later. Then chewy earthy spicy hops, little pine, quite bitter, faint citrus clashing with the dark charred malts. Finish is dry and spicy chewy hops lingering, little char and black malt lingering.
Mouth is med bod, little creamy, nice carb.
Overall meh, nothing great about this one either. Hops are meh, and don't blend well with the malts.
