Light fizzy fluffy head, very dark color brown light sneaking through, no real lacing.
Nose brings loads of vanilla, almost fake vanilla since there is so much vanilla, little cocoa choc. No real malts out of that, just all vanilla extract.
Taste more vanilla, little better at least, some cocoa notes, milk choc, watery milk choc and touches of cookie wafer, faint caramel like brown malt. Finish is all vanilla, again like vanilla extract, little bitterness.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, little watery, decent carb.
Overall poor. This just epitomizes 3cross's beers, just poor versions of styles, and not close to what they should be. It's as if Dave has little actual brewing experience, or at least feedback. Most of the beers coming from here are like the beers I brewed when I first started home brewing and experimenting.
