Had on tap at the Kickstarter party.
Light creamy head, little lacing, dark murky pond water color.
Nose nice big phenolic alcohol, nice candy, caramel molasses candy, nice perfumey phenols, esters, candi sugar, hint of booze, chewy dark Belgian soft malts, nice figs and candied raisin.
Taste is mildly sweet with more candy sugar, burnt brown sugar and candied raisins, nice fig paste, chewy dates, molasses and rum, all followed closely with big alcohol phenols, mild alcohol but lots of perfumey phenols, chewy spicy hops in the background, maybe the only issue as it doesn't blend as well. Finish is drier mildly sticky, nice lingering phenols and sweet candy malt, candied rummy figs and dates, little bitterness lingering.
Mouth is med bod, little booze note, decent carb.
Overall pretty good, great phenols ave fruits, sweet malts without much sweetness, pretty enjoyable.

Enjoyed at the brewery.
A - Poured into a tulip a super murky chestnut hue with a thin head and light lacing.
S - Aromas of Belgian sugars, darker fruits, molasses, esters, figs, raisins.
T - Taste is loads of Belgian sugars, toffee and caramel, molasses, phenols, esters, figs, raisins, brown sugar, alcohol is hidden nicely. Pleasant, currants, subtle.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, alcohol hidden.
O - Overall this beer was tasty, really solid representation of the style.
