This is a collaboration beer with F Hoone in Tallinn. Served on draught there. 4 euro/33cl.
Pours a vibrant orange-copper with a bone white cap. Average 2 minute retention, leaving a sticky web of lacing as it recedes. No yeast is visible.
Nice floral and fruity aroma, with a sweet caramalt undertone and requisite pale malts. Average aromatic intensity.
Taste follows the aroma, with nice sweetness checking hop bitterness throughout, though theres a nice resinous almost junipery bite on the climax. Balanced and enjoyable.
Smooth and wet. Medium-bodied, with apt thickness. A bit ovrtcarbonated.
Highly drinkable, with a well hidden ABV and plenty of flavour for a session IPA. More above average work from Pohjala.
