Black color. One-finger thick, beige head. Chocolate, vanilla, and coffee in the aroma. Same notes in a sweet, malty taste with moderate, roasted bitterness at the end.

Copenhagen 5/2 2023. 33 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. A pink, cold winter sky with scattered clouds on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense and sweet and dessert-like. Chocolate mousse, vanilla, brown sugar and bitter dark chocolate.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Lightweight but pretty nice Porter with a pastry touch.

An overall sweet, dessert-like porter with hints of chocolate and clotted cream over a subtle dark ale backing. Thick, oily mouthfeel, thin head, and a medium dry finish.

Colour black. The liquid appears cloudy, no translucence. Brown foam, not very high, not persistent.
Aroma intensely roasted, there is coffee, ash notes, chocolate, liquorice, caramel.
Taste similarly, roasted, there is coffee, bitter, there is bitter chocolate. There are tobacco and ash notes. Clear bitterness, although medium high.
Saturation medium. Body medium. Texture soft, light. Aftertaste long, chocolate and coffee.

12oz can from Lexington Co-op. Dark brown pour, wispy beige head. Roasty, chocolaty aroma. Taste is subtle roasty, burnt toast, chocolate, mild sweetness. So smooth. Exquisite.

From the 11.2 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid porter a dark
chocolate brown with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose
of dark chocolate, char, vanilla, caramel, and faint coffee touched with
caramel sweet malts. Flavors hit the note with dark chocolate, char,
roast, mellow vanilla, coffee, faint brulee, and subtle dark fruits
touched with caramel sweet malts. Mouth feel is medium, smooth,
rich, lightly coating, light carbonation, and a roasted bitter malt
finish.
Overall----excellent!
Cheers

11.2 oz bottle.
Pours a dark cola brown color with an effervescent mocha head. Decent head retention. Leaves very little spots of lacing.
Aromas of chocolate fudge, rye bread, vanilla, roasted coffee and licorice.
Lots of coffee and vanilla flavors, as well as some milk chocolate, spicy rye, caramel, and licorice. There's a faint hint of dark fruits and roasted nuts.
The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth, but a touch too watery.
Overall, this is a very good porter. It's full of flavor and easy to drink.
