Copenhagen 4/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller Web-shop. Small Blue Green maritime vignettes on the label. One for each collaborator.
Pours unclear orange amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet decay and citric sharpness. Sweet malts, cardboard, sweet fruit slightly decayed, Oranges and Peach. Sour notes of Grapefruit and Citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, Soft, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a somewhat stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is sharply bitter. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Notable presence of alcohol. Sweet and fermented, bitter and boozy. As a DIPA should be.
