Copenhagen 4/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. As “Põhjala Winter Hearts”. Drawing of a snow landscape with the word “Kihosk” half buried in snow on the label.
Pours opaque, hazy, murky yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with lighter citrus fumes. Sweet peach. Herbal odor of pines and grass. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Citric with a stuffy tang. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit thin and with a strange tang.
