Copenhagen 26/6 2024. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue. Small off-white head. Settles ss thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary odor saturated in sweet alcohol. Dessert wine, sugar and syrup. Dark fruit soaked in dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, soft, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit boozy. Lingering. Finish is sweet liqueur.
Vinous like a cup of Port wine.

330 ml yellow waxed bottle, as Põhjala Cellar Series Rudolf BA Ryewine, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 12%. Black colour, hardly any head. Aroma of malts, molasses, caramel, rye whiskey and oak. Warming mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also chocolate and some bittering hops.

De OkassionalBeer. En copa Teku. Jugando a Horizon Zero Dawn. Con queso sin lactosa de Codi. Agradable perfil a barleywine (no noto el centeno) con notas a madera, cálida y reconfortante de principio a fin, sin resultar difícil el trago pero recordando su cálidez que es una birra para beber lentamente. Bastante equilibrada
