Hazy with a dirty gold color. Moderate head which leaves an amazing blanket of lace on the glass initially. Streaks thereafter.
The floral hop shows up first followed by a deep semisweet caramelized nose. Strong alcohol.
Smooth and malty start. Slightly dryer than the smell. Richer body with a muted carbonation level. The alcohol warmth comes next flowed closely by a rather sharp hop bite. The finish is mostly black pepper bitterness but the alcohol lingers longest in the aftertaste.
