Bottle pour from Beer Witch in Brooklyn, NY.

This one pours a nice golden brown color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells quite caramelly, and bready, with some vanilla and honey-like bourbon.

There’s definitely some tasty caramel here, but no saltiness that I can discern – it does say it’s a strong ale with salted caramel. There’s breadiness and maple, and some nice oaky vanillin notes.

This is softly carbonated, but definitely not flat, with a pleasant soft creaminess to it, and not much booziness.

I wish it was easier to find bottles of Pohjala, they really make barrel aged beers the way I like them.

Pourss a jet body all with a couple of tan bubbles
Aroma is cocoa raisin
Flavour is rummy raisin
