Copenhagen 18/10 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of two people sitting on a bench while they talk and one of them is drinking a beer. Looks a bit like a Metro station.
Pours dirty yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with citric and sour fumes. Perfumed notes. Peach and tangerines. Grape fruit and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent Finish is semi-dry.
Decent pale ale with an exotic streak and enough bitterness to balance it. Not what I would be drinking at my local Metro-station but enjoyable.
