Frederiksberg 25/2 2026. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a tight, small off-white head. Settles as a paper thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of roasted malts mingling with chocolate and sweet spice. Caramel and toffee. Dark chocolate. Cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. Hides the ABV pretty well but it does peek in as the beer warms up. Sweet and potent.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a weaker bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light boozy burn. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent, sweet Christmas package.
