a highly unrefined but relatively tasty honey beer here, not sure if it actually is a lager or not, i thought i remember it being a honey ale, but whatever, the distinction is almost inconsequential in the beer. its super cloudy and thick looking from the tap, kind of flat too, not at all what i had in mind when i came in here out of the heat for a refreshing pint. fortunately, it smells and tastes pretty good, tons of natural honey character hitting both senses simultaneously, and there is the right amount of sweetness to it with the grain in here, a full flavored and complete profile, floral and springy from the honey, but the texture just doesnt match, its weighty from being so full of sediment, and the carbonation sags, a shame because this is so full of potential. kind of sloppy overall, but in the end, beer is all about taste, and this tastes pretty good, so its hard to be too critical. i didnt love any of the beers in here, but this was one of the better ones, for whatever thats worth...
