a tasty apricot wheat here, well made, soft and fluffy feeling, dry and bubbly and drinkable and good, better than most in this style really. the apricot isnt overly natural to me, but its not overdosed or sweet really at all, which is just as important, it drinks like wheat beer first, and i like that. pale yellow in color with a decent head from the tap, fizzy and alive looking. aroma and flavor have a slightly floral thing from the apricot, maybe a little sweetness there on top of the wheat, subtle mandarin orange and peach nectar too, its more obviously apricot in the flavor, only slight perfume essence to this, the dry fermentation really makes it for me. its summery and light enough to drink a couple of, clean enough, and bright and bubbly as well. i liked pretty much all the beers i had from mighty mo when i was in town, they seem to be doing some cool stuff across a range of styles. this should appeal to anyone who likes a wheat beer of any persuasion, the fruit is obvious but not overdone.
