Sampled on tap at Popeye in Tokyo.

This "brown ale" poured a dark (almost opaque) coffee brown color with thin tan foam. The smell was very strong and inviting: mainly a caramel malt aroma with some alcohol and something else I could not quite put my finger on. The taste was sweet and malty, but not overly sweet, with a fruity element, and also toffee and alcohol flavors. The aftertaste was light caramel. The mouthfeel was smooth as silk and light and airy on the tongue. Clean feeling with medium body and low carbonation. This was a very nice ale -- another great one from this brewery.
