I remember visiting Drekker after we went to Oktoberfest at Schell Brewery in New Ulm in 2016, then went on a road trip.
Drekker was the first place we stopped when we pulled into Fargo. The place was huge, and just recently opened. There was still some work being done inside as I recall.
We enjoyed a few beers and relaxed before heading to our hotel.
This was before I was on BA. I’m glad to see their beer is well distributed now, and have enjoyed a couple in local tap houses in Maryland recently.
Well worth a visit if you happen to be in Fargo.

If visiting Fargo Drekker is a very worthy spot to check out….big place, several rooms/area and a real nice outside sitting and drinking area. Long bar, brewery equipment visible, a row of pin ball tables, lots of art all over the place….add in an absolute load of quality beer options, on tap and cans (to go or stay) and you have a super chill atmosphere and a must visit spot. Beers focused on hazy IPA and also a bunch of assorted sours and fruited sours and milkshake kinda creations.

Stayed at Brewhalla on a Friday and Saturday.

Place is huge. Feels modern, clean, industrial-chic, not exactly bro-ey but moving in that direction. Brewing equipment was visible. Not sure how many bars, at least three on at least two floors. Maybe 15 beers on tap, though pretty strongly dominated by IPAs and fruited kettle sours. There are a couple other options -- I had a good lager and a good foeder-aged sour. Staff was at least efficient, and some of them were fun and friendly. Everything I had was good.

Holy heck! this place is massive. Tons of indoor seating. Tons of outdoor seating on 2 levels. There's a ton of food options there. I had the hamburger and it was damn delicious. Huge selection on tap of styles and seltzers. This place is crazy, and the beer was great. The service was damn good. They don't do tasters, but I am fine with that. I had fun there, and would gladly go back. I recommend it if you're in Fargo.

Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Manitoba was our stops at Drekker. There are not a huge range of options in Fargo, but this was more than just a nice find. The food was pretty exceptional. The beer was, as expected, wild and bizarre but well constructed. The smoothie brews for which Drekker is well known all delivered, but don't sleep on the more traditional IPAs and other brews, because pretty much everything is on point. Service was a bit haphazard, with great service at the bar coupled with a bit more lackluster work at a couple of the food options. Overall, if I'm again in the area, I know I'll be returning, and might just stay in the hotel while we're at it.

Drekker Brewing started in a location in downtown Fargo, and then moved out to the west side of town, and into a historical railroad building. The name of the place is 'Brewhalla', and is spacious and open, with a upper mezzanine for additional seating. The lower level has a long bar with a wide selections of taps, community tables and other sitting areas with couches and easy chairs. Big parking lot out front. Outside patio with a firepit. Cold beer in coolers can be purchased for take away. More expansion plans in place that include a food market, hotel, and events center. The beer is excellent, and the staff are friendly and professional.

 

Great brewery, love everything from them. Must try any chonk series. Service was excellent, definitely a must stop in Fargo. I’ve been impressed with the few beers I’ve had and can’t wait to try more.

Kind of a dark place, but I liked it. The one side of the building is a large window which faces the street. The weather was pleasant with lots of sun that brought light into the building. In the midst of winter, this could be a dismal place with little light. People were inside playing large Jenga and other board games. It seems as though you upper Midwesterners like you board games and cards. Anyhoo. The selection was okay, but there was some repetitiveness. Three sours, two reds, two wheats. I think 15 total drafts. No stouts on this occasion, which is what I was seeking. The people in the place were having fun and the vibe was cool. Not sure I would come back here, but enjoyed my visit.

 

 

 

 

 

Great place to go and talk to some local guys who got together and started a Vikings vibe brew pub. Try some brews and throw some bags, good times will follow!

For a new brewery they aren't doing bad. Their dark beers are the best of their selection including the choco milk stout. With more experience they should get their product in more then 1 space besides the taproom. On the plus side, best tap room of the 3 local breweries.
