This was a Christmas present in 2023, drunk a couple of weeks later in January 2024.
L: Light, neon-ish yellow with a big-bubbled, bright white head. Lots of carbonation can be seen in the stem of the glass.
S: Citrus and fruity with - and I can't believe I'm saying this - blueberry bubblegum notes.
T: There's a pineapple and fruity note to the beer, but it's washed away quite abruptly with a thin, soda-like, flabby end. Bitterness is mild. In my mind, hazy, fruity beer is never served well by a thin finish; it washes away the keynote of the beer, which is usually its tropical fruitiness. When that point has gone, there's nothing else for the beer to hide behind.
M: Mouthfeel is thin and a little watery while carbonation is quite high, neither of which match each other when we're talking about beer and not soft drinks.
O: Thin hazies are not my idea of a beer that I want to drink again, and this one, unfortunately, sits in that category.
Cheers!

On-draught @ Kaiju Cantina.
Juicy hop profile. Pale malt.
Refreshing and enjoyable, though it doesn't exactly dazzle as a pale ale in 2023.
