Drunk fresh at the Geelong Beer Festival in January 2024.
This is marketed as a West Coast Pilsner, so it should probably be moved out of the German Pilsner category when an appropriate one is created.
L: Clear yellow with a fluffy, white, moussy head that fades to a thin rim.
S: Nose is mildly tropical, with pineapple standing out.
T: Crisp and clean with restrained - and probably too low - bitterness. Mild pine notes with a pineapple and melon fruitiness. The finish is a little thin and watery.
M: Mouthfeel is mild but thin. The finish, as noted above, is thin.
O: I'm going out on a limb and assuming a West Coast pilsner will be Hoppy, slightly dank, and, if it's a modern take on a West Coast beer, fruity, too. Delivers mildly in the dankness and fruitiness but feels away in the pilsner bitterness and in the weak and watery finish.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
