Drinking not quite refrigerator temperature. Accentuates the hop flavor more. Sweet straw taste. Overall decent beer.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Lots of head - had to let it settle before finishing the pour. On the clear side, bright golden color with low carbonation. Looks rather flat (but all the head? Strange).
There is almost no smell. I give it a 2.5 not because it's below average, but that there's not much there.
The taste surprises, given the lack of nose. It's grassy and bready with just a slight lemon citrus to balance it out. A good blend.
A bit on the lighter side of medium bodied, Finishes with little aftertaste. Overall a good beer. I'd drink it again.

Sampled on tap at The Barrel & Bottle, Columbus, Ohio. Pours a pale orange-yellow color, with a white head that leaves some decent lacing. Aromas are quite understated, with notes of light cracker, lemony citrus, and light floral hops. These characteristics carry over to the palate, supplemented by some pleasant bitterness from the dry hopping. Overall, a pleasant brew with an interesting twist.

On tap at CMH airport in Ohio.
Cloudy pale golden body with a fine white head.
Mild aroma with a mix of hops and pale malts. Bolder flavor with more hop impact than expected for style.
Crisp lively carbonation in a light-medium body.
Overall; bold for style, but clean.

Pours pale yellow. Foamy, medium, white head fades slowly to a small mountain in middle.
Smells grassy, bready, citrus and lemon.
Tastes citrus peel, lemon, grassy, light bread. Finish is dry with a grassy and Lemony linger. Lighter body and higher fizzy carbonation.

Trying the 1862 at the airport location. It poured a clear yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had hints of lemon. The taste was slightly bitter to start then kind of mild. There was some bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good beer.
