Brewed for, and with the help of, the passionate supporters of Columbus Crew SC. Glory is an American Wheat Ale brewed with Citra hops. The result of two separate test batch tastings and election results, the soccer faithful of the Capital City settled on this refreshing hoppy wheat. Glory to Columbus, indeed.

Pours light hazy, yellow. Foamy, medium, white head that fades fast with light lacing.
Smells citrus peel, pine and light malt.
Tastes grapefruit, citrus peel and light bready malt. Finish is dry with an earthy, piney and light wheat linger. Lighter body and smooth, lightly fizzy medium carbonation.

Trying Glory at the Columbus airport. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of lemon. The taste was slightly balanced and easy to drink. It finished with a tad bitter citrus that helped come off the pallet clean. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Poured a hazy yellow, decent head with some lacing. Nice hoppy aroma, slight citrus and piney, no bread. Taste starts slow but then the citrus comes in and sticks without any lingering bitterness, just a touch of tart comes in with the citrus (lemon). Medium feel, a little sharp, no creaminess from wheat. To me this is more of just a pale ale, not really noticing the wheat. But as a pale ale I enjoyed it. Enjoyed the beer in the end and would re-purchase.

Can dated 4-8-16. Plastic cup at a work staff meeting!
A: hazy yellow, little visible carb, 1.5 fingers bright white head with great lacing.
S: very hoppy. Bright, piney citrus.
T: light overall; really very little flavor on arrival or mid palate, with a tight citrusy bitterness at the end that lingers lightly.
M: light, well-carbonated, with a good mouth-filling slickness, that finishes clean.
O: this reminds me a lot of their session IPA, but with a little more alcohol, and a MUCH better texture, thanks to the wheat. This is more like a hoppy session wheat, and it is perfect for summer. Six pack worthy. And the can is awesome, go Crew!
