Poured from an hour old growler into a glass. The appears is a clear golden yellow with a thick fluffy white head. The nose is slightly muted, but the hop presence is there. Slightly piney, slightly citrusy and a very bready malt base. The taste starts out with a touch of citrus, which is quickly overwhelmed by pine. This then moves to bready and yeasty profiles, which just seem odd and a touch out of place. The finish is very bitter. Overall, I'm just looking for more flavor and aroma out of a fresh hop pale ale, rather than the straight bitterness. It wasn't bad, but not something that blew me away, and not worth seeking out.
