Enjoyed from the growler via The Barrel and Bottle in Columbus. This nice bock pours a deep dark mahogany color with a nice head of off white foam that subsides to a thick ting, thin layer, and nice light lacing. Nose of chocolate, caramel, light breaded malt, and subtle floral hops. Flavors surpass the nose with breaded malts dusted with rich chocolate and caramel notes on all sides. Herbal hops touch lightly on the sides and rear cutting through the sweetness to perfection with a lightly creamy medium full mouth feel and a sweet malt finish. An excellent example of a solid bock done right in the heart of Ohio. Solid!
