12 oz can, date stamp 13:01 2022-02-08. Part of a mixed six pack from the brewer. Shared with the Mrs. and served in 0.2L Rastel Bitburger Pilsner pokal glasses.
Appearance: Pale, cloudy straw color, thin persistent white head with fine strands and sheets of persistent lacing noted.
Smell: Lemon, orange, citrus, tropical fruit. Definitely living up to its name here of fruit slices.
Taste: Definitely a lot like freshly squeezed citrus juice, but not sweet at all. Hoppy, but not really bitter. No real noticeable malt for balance, just hop flavor.
Mouthfeel: A little thin, light carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: A bit one dimensional in hop flavor and aroma, but the underlying ale is just barely there. I suppose that's the point - emphasizing the fruit flavors and aromas here, but I found it a bit boring after awhile and would not want another one. Not bad, just unbalanced for an AIPA.

This one grew on me more with each sip. My initial thought is that it was all on the nose and the bouquet is both flowery and intensely sweet. The first few sips were sharp, almost tart, but slowly the parade of citrus broke through. The Grapefruit and Orange hits hard. Great beer ...quite comparable to their Concentrate.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had fresh fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slightly bitter fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
