Not a great example of an ipa. Nose was promising however the taste was lackluster at best. Better than all mass produced domestic offerings. Abv is a plus

Pours a light translucent orange, heavy lacing. Smells dank, pine, resin, and grass. The hops are front and center and hold the malts at bay. Very piney, sharp and crisp. Nice to get a new take on a West Coast. Good beer, I’d have another.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank stone fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with apricot and pine resin mix. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
