Inspired by the classic—though not actually German—coconut and pecan topped confection, German Chocolate cake; this strong stout is brewed with generous additions of Cacao Nibs, Toasted Coconut, Pecans, and Vanilla. Dark chocolate malts render the beer a deep, dark brown while malted oats generate a silky smooth texture. This show-stopping dessert beer is a good bake, worthy of it’s star status.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74---Cheers Dude!
This solid brew pours a dark murky brownish black with a very nice head of
khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports some very nice
lacing. Nose of vanilla, cream, toasted coconut, dark chocolate fudge, and
nutty malts. Flavors pack in the flavor with toasted coconut, vanilla fluff, dark
chocolate fudge, brulee, dark coffee touches, and nutty pecans with some dark
fruit hints of sweet cherry and dark brown sugars. Nice mouth feel; medium full
teetering on full body, smooth, coating, rich, light soft carbonation, and a rich,
full, lightly bitter malt finish that is sweet and delicious.
For a dessert brew, this one delivers!
Cheers

I got a can of this beer from the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin off white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had milk chocolate scent with coconut highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with strong chocolate base and subtle pecan and coconut flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

16 ounce can, canning date is smudged but I'm pretty sure this was released over the past month or so more or less. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark chocolate, dark bread, vanilla and coconut. Taste pretty much follows the aroma for the most part, but there's also some dark bread and nutty flavors noticeable too. It's a mostly sweet tasting brew but not overpoweringly so. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit slick with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, glad I picked some up earlier today. Recommended if you're into pastry stouts and/or imperial stouts. $14.99 a 4-pack.
