Land-Grant Co-Owner and Founder, Adam, holds a grudge toward the hop varietal known as Ekuanot. But our brew team loves its complex tropical, orchard fruit, citrus, and berry aromatics. We've paired both traditional and Cryo-Ekuanot here with Mosaic to settle the score once and for all. Who will come out on top?

I got a can of this beer from the brewery as part of a mixed 6pck. It poured a cloudy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had apricot and stone fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with apricot bade and other subtle citrus highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a very good beer.

12 ounce can, canned on 2021-03-30. Served in a Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a cloudy gold color with about an inch frothy off-white head that stuck around a while. Lots of lacing. I like the aroma, it smells like tropical fruit, orange, mango, orange peel, grapefruit and some bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some melon and herbal hops. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a bit of slickness. Moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall Hazy IPA, thanks to my buddy Denis for this one!
