I tried this beer at the brewery. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had hints of pine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and pine resin highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a very good beer.

 

Pours a clean translucent orange; decent head and heavy lacing. Smells like a pine forest. I don’t have to place my nose near the glass to pick up the spruce. Upon the tongue, this has the bitter you’d expect, but it’s not overwhelming. There’s a nice give to this that features the piney profile. Very reminiscent of Jackie O’s New Growth. Good beer. I really enjoy this style.
