Loopulin Froots IPA with Lactose

Pours a clean dense yellow. The lactose must settle to the bottom of the can because the pour noticeably palled and thickens near the end. Has a murkier appearance in the glass with a nice bit of carbonation. Very pleasant bouquet of citrus and fresh cut melon. Nice bite to this immediately. There is a melon/citrus backbones with notes of sharp pineapple, perhaps some cherry and just a touch of tart. Finishes strong and pulls hard to the back of the tongue; stronger notes of pineapple. Really liked this. It’s not in the milk/murkshake realm, but makes excellent complimentary use of the lactose.
