Poured nearly black and had an aggressive light brown head.
The aroma was more berry than maple but it seems to work.
The taste was definitely maple and blueberry, the flavors were almost distinct from each other. Took me a few minutes to figure out what I was tasting.
The feel was excellent for the genre, though I can’t say I’ve had too many pastry porters.
Glad I got to try this, give it a shot if you find it out there.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a nearly opaque dark mahogany amber with very dark purplish hue that had thin ecru head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had blueberry and maple pancake notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with seni sour blueberry presence with chocolate highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
