12 ounce can, another brew thanks to Brutaltruth! Date stamped is smudged but I can tell it was canned sometime in 2023. Think it was released earlier in the year. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and some cherry syrup. Taste pretty much follows the aroma for me, but there's also some coffee and dark bready flavors noticeable too. Kinda reminds me of a dark chocolate covered cherry. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, certainly worth picking up if you're able to!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little stout pours a dark
obsidian with a decent head of red tinged khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of
tart cherry, dark bakers chocolate, moderate char, and coffee hints.
Flavors surpass the nose with dark cocoa, dark coffee nuances, tart cherry,
raspberry, and blackberry dosed with char and subtle smoke with earthy
malt and light vanilla notes. Mouth feel is medium full tilting towards full,
light carbonation, and finishing with a bitter malt and char note.
Overall, nice but is a bit lacking in balance.
Cheers

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a weird murky opaque dark with ruby halo. The head was a tan ring with spotty lace. The scent had a motley mix of berry and semi sweet chocolate notes. The taste was evenly balanced with semi sweet chocolate malt base with tart berry presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good and interesting beer.
