Oddwood Ales

This is a Foeder beer, refermented on blueberry puree, the version I tasted was 2yr old.

8oz pour into a plastic solo cup from the tent outside the brewery.

Pours a deep hazy maroon with a significant amount of fruit and or yeast particulate in the pour.

Smells quite sour/lactic with not much fruit smell.

Taste is immensely sour and dry oak up front with a mellow sweetness if you give it a momemt. Very clean/sharp finish with a bit of lingering effervescence.

Unsure of the ABV but there's no phenolic bite, so if it's higher abv it's well masked. However if I had to guess I'd say it's in the 5% ballpark.

As someone who really enjoys blueberries as well as sour beers, this beer is fantastic.
