A relic from the past and standby beer style for many. Our riff features a blend of primo American and German malts driving a smooth malt body anchored by some lovely hits of Simcoe hops. It’s an Amber and it’s solid.

Amber pour leaning a little dark, khaki head with some lace on top. Nose is malt and pine.
Taste is caramel, pine, dried fruit, floral, medium kilned malt. Medium mouthfeel with a light syrup consistency. Finish is like a pine marmalade. Good amber.

16oz can with no date. Opened 6-24-23.
2+ finger sand colored head with great staying power. Brilliant amber body. Wispy, spotty, and patchy lacing.
Aromas of grain, toast, caramel, and spicy hops.
Initial caramel malt sweetness, toast, and honey with a spicy, grassy hop late.
Medium body, medium plus carbonation, some creaminess to the mouthfeel - great balance and a flavorful, clean, lengthy finish.
Outstanding.
