Poured from tap at the Changwon Express itself. The ales are brewed on Korea in collaboration with The Hand and Malt before being shipped back to Thailand. Appearance is dark black with some tan froth. No distinct aromas, maybe some roasted malts only. Taste-wise, it is more complex, with notes of roasted malts, coffee and chocolates. Good solid stout, with complexity far above its rather low ABV which makes it eminently drinkable.

Dark brown with an amber tinged head when held to the light. Topped with two fingers of creamy, beige head. Lots of carbonation.

Smells of cocoa, treacle and oranges, and hints of western American hops.

The taste follows the nose. Deep, dark, dark chocolate, cocoa, oranges, and treacle.

Medium body with a huge soda carbonation.

I got this one in Chang Mai, Thailand where I am drinking it at Pagoda House, June 24, 2017. Very impressive overall, perhaps slightly over carbonated.

On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Changwon Express, Bangkok.

Very deep brown to almost crude black in color, it comes with very thick eternal fluffy brown head that won't completely die down until the last sip and leaves plenty of sticky lacing wave all along the glass-side.

It is mainly chocolate in kind of dark chocolate in the aroma. Then it becomes coffee, cocoa powder, roasted, toasted biscuit, charred nut, caramel, some vanilla, dark bread, all from malt as well as some crisp of earthy hop.

The taste is straightforward for what Stout is all about. It is roasted, coffee with subtle sourness, dark chocolate, charred nut, dark bread, and caramel. There is some bitterness at the end mostly from roasted and partially from earthy hop.

The body is medium with quite smooth mouthfeel and low to moderate carbonation that is enought to carry all the things well. Finish is typically dry.

Rich and delicious with its inviting dark chocolate and coffee profiles, salute to the man behind this.
