This one was really good and smoky, but not overpowering. The nose is look is great, but the mouthfeel is a little thing.

Pours ebony with a finger of fast-falling mocha colored head. Minimal head retention & lacing , a bit of viscosity to this
S: Smokeyness & salt water taffy, a little boozeyness
T: Big time smokeyness, a little coffee hiding underneath up front. More of the same as this warms, a little vanilla & molasses as this warms, some boozeyness too, a little dryness as well. Finishes with caramel, smokeyness, a little vanilla & taffy, some charred notes
MF: Medium bodied, vigorous carbonation, thins out a touch as this warms, carbonation calms down, warming
A bit too harsh, perhaps too much mesquite? There was the making of a good smoked porter there, just doesn't hit the mark
