I love finding these beers all year around. I am tired of IPAs.
This pours a nice Carmel dark color. I get a great smell, look and taste. I will definitely go out of my way to look for this beer.

Carillon, a Belgian quad on tap at the brewery. Not sure if this is a one off or to be a recurring winter seasonal.
Appearance: black with a ruby edge. Darker than usual for a quad.
Smell: black currants, ripe figs, black cherries
Taste: really follows the smell. Lot of nice dark fruits. For being a very dark quad I was concerned it would have a fair amount of roast, chocolate or coffee but thankfully not. Slightly bitter finish complements the beer.
Mouthfeel: pretty thin. Think this beer could benefit from more carbonation as well. Not as much as typical for style and ending at a bit too low of gravity.
Overall: Great quad, really enjoyed it. Awesome level of fruit flavored. One room for improvement would be on mouthfeel as it is a little too thin and under carbonated.
