solid take on the style, served at their vegas spot on side pull, which i suppose blends in a little czech to this german dark lager, very well made beer, a style we dont see enough of in the american lexicon, easy drinking but full flavored, some body but also a lot of carbonation kind of rushing it along and helping each sip finish pretty clean. brown colored beer, appropriately, reddish edges, beautiful near inch of beige head from the side faucet, pro. aroma on this one is middle to deeper middle malty, raisin, cola, dark leather, cigar, cocoa, german for sure, and with some old world lager yeast in play here too, subtle wet concrete type minerality, some brown sugar to even molasses sweetness here as well, a light soy umami thing, dark bread and toast, and the flavor is the same, nice richness to this without too much heft, wintery to me, relatively sweet in the middle, a little more roast to it later on, well lagered and quite authentic in that regard, subtle as the yeast part is. the quality is high on this, the pour method adds an element of class, and i think overall a pretty good take on the style, no frills. one of the more straightforward beers we had in here, but a good one. some cool beers coming out of this place...

Pours a reddish brown with a finger and a half of rocky head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and bread. Taste follows nose. Nice clean finish.
