On-tap at the brewpub.
Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a half-finger slightly off-white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of deep caramel malts with hints of toastiness. Also present are very mild amounts of earthy hop aromas.
Tastes very similar to how it smells. Dark caramel malt flavors kick things off and are quickly joined by dry toasted malts. Midway through the sip earthy hop flavors join in and carry through to a mildly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with decent carbonation.
Drinkability is OK. I finished my glass without a problem however I'm not sure about another.
Overall this wasn't a bad beer but the malt bill didn't do the flavor profile any flavors. Drinkable but not one I'd choose to drink again.

Pours a clear, brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong yeast, sweet malt, earthy malt, slight grain, and slight grass. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with a low carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, slight sweet malt, slight nut, and some grass. Overall, drinkable and smooth, but little body.

Appearance: Garnet-hued body with a dense, lush off-white head.
Smell: Altogether bland aroma with only faint hint of caramel and yeastiness.
Taste: Light caramel maltiness with a bit of sweetness. Mild hop presence provides a faint tea-like bitterness and a hint of lemon. Bittersweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A bit light on flavor, but it's still pretty decent.
