6.2% ABV. 45 IBU. Contains peanuts. Montgomery Brewing, Montgomery, MN.

Thorough blackness, rich brown head of foam, completely opaque.

In the nose: peanuts, right off the bat, boom, bang, pea-nutty. Nutty 'n' sweet. Malty, naturally. Rich cocoa tones below.

In the mouth: Boom! Big ol' Peanut butter flavor dipped in chocolate. Nutty 'n' sweet. Wait....I said that already. And yet, it is still true. Delightfully malty. Yum, is a word I keep returning to, yum a dum dum. I keep returning to that, too.

So, another peanut butter beer, and, yeah, it's a beer with peanut butter in it. It's got that going on. Put Montgomery in the running for the peanut butter porter sweepstakes. Good stuff.

Very large can. Poured out a jet-black color with a small, brown head of foam. It smelled strongly of peanuts with hints of chocolate and caramel. Huge peanut flavor with chocolate and creaminess.

I got a 32oz can of this at the Hy-Vee grocery store in Faribault, MN whilst up there for son's hockey camp at Shattuck. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that dissipated quickly and did not leave any lace. The scent had bold peanut butter and mocha flare. The taste was nicely balanced and very easy to drink. There was chocolate peanut butter cup base. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a solid beer.

Looks nice. 3/4 inch on light tan head. Decent lacing.
Super strong smell of peanut.
Taste of strong peanut butter and some chocolate.
Thin feel which I wasn’t a fan of.
If you like a thin peanut butter beer this is it.

Pours a very dark brown color. 1 finger off white head. Retention is low, and there's no lacing on the glass.
The nose hit me when I was pourin this beer. I got hit hard with peanut butter and chocolate aromas. Up close it is the same.
Taste - Peanut butter all around. Some chocolate notes. Just a slight bitterness on the backside.
A bit watery feeling. Some carbonation, but slight.
This is a delicious peanutbutter porter. The only downside is the watery feel.

Poured from 750ml crowler into glass. Can is not marked with a fill date.
Very dark brown body, with reddish highlights when presented to light. One finger tan head settles to ring and scattered islands. Lacing spots slide down into body.
Aroma of roasted malt, peanuts, and sweet chocolate.
Taste of nutty roasted malts, with cocoa-like mid range, and slight zing at the end. Minimal bitterness.
Medium mouth feel, just a bit of stickiness. More dry than rich.
Well balanced peanut butter porter.

L: pours nearly black and throws up a massive, dense 3.5" light tan head that persists and marks each drink with a thick line of lace

S: Smells like a peanut butter sandwich and a cup of hot cocoa

T: This is a liquid Reese's Peanut Butter cup in a glass with the sweetness toned down a bit and seasoned with some biscuit light coffee and a moderate hit of hop bitterness.

F: very luscious, creamy texture with very fine, soft carbonation. The body is medium plus.

O: The brewer excels here by dialing in enough peanut to make a statement but keeping it low enough to not overwhelm the beer
