It arrived with a fairly thick, medium-tan head. The color was a deep amber with NE-quality clarity. The nose had a definite citrus-hop quality to it. The mouthfeel was medium with a good hop presence on the tongue. The finish was lingeringly hoppy with a slight grainy texture on the tongue remaining after the swallow. There was a decent sticky lacing throughout. It continued to perplex me as to why an IPA might be made as a seasonal (see my comments in Wichita, KS during WHF1/2006)
