Montgomery Brewing Company's seasonal offering on tap at the brewery.
A: Light brown (virtually transparent) with little head and no lacing.
S: Barely detectable aromas, and no traditional brown ale scents. My nose is almost in the beer seeking out aromas, but to no avail.
T: Soap is the first flavor I notice, followed by well...nothing. Simplicity is one thing, but a brown ale needs some flavor. This beer needs more hops, more malt, less water and some tender loving care during the brewing process. Even a low ABV beer, which this must be, should have a nice feel and great taste.
M: Very thin with an odd feel.
D: This beer lacks any distinguishing characteristics. It's quite boring and disappointing.
