Hazy orange-tan color. Very little head that completely disappeared in seconds. No lacing. Low rate of fine bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
Smells of chai spices, especially cardamom, and a little bit of orange. Slight funky yeast. Swirling the glass kicked up a bit more funk that was tending towards barnyard.
Mild orange flavor with too much cardamom. Very light malt. Very mild bitters. Something a bit funky, but this is nearly overwhelmed by the spices. Not a very good balance of flavor.
Light tongue tingling despite the apparent lack of carbonation. Quickly turns into a foam of large bubbles. Medium body that feels almost oily when the bubbles are large.
Didn't quite get to a proper balance of flavor. Cardamom is a hit or miss flavor for me, and there was too much of it here that overwhelmed the other flavors.
