Our take on a Gin Fizz cocktail, this Sour is bursting with juicy botanical flavours. Juniper, Orange Peel and Coriander come together with a bright citrus punch of squeezed lemon, Cascade and Amarillo hops, creating a crisp, light and refreshingly tart experience.

Hazy yellow-gold color. Poured a tall head that took several minutes to collapse to a thin skiff. Too hazy to see the carbonation level, but there were some tiny and medium sized bubbles showing up at the side of the glass. Left small patches and strings of lacing.
Very strong citrus smell, mostly lemon and lime. There is a hint of something resinous, which is probably the juniper. There is a light malt with a bit of yeast funk. Swirling the glass kicked up more yeast funk with a hint of spice. The resin was much stronger.
Light tart with mostly lemon flavor. Light bitter-funk. Mild malt. Swallowing really kicks up a strong citrus peel with bitter pith across the back of my tongue. This is mostly lemon, but there is a light orange mixed in. The juniper resin flavor is very mild, and hard to pick out unless you are looking for it. The aftertaste is mostly light bitter citrus with some tart yeast funk.
Some stinging tongue tingling as it grew into a small bubbled foam. Not creamy, but quite soft, tending towards a very light oily feel. Slightly gummy after swallowing.
Not as much gin botanical as I was expecting. I've had a couple of gin based beers which were far more obvious. Could back off some of the lemon for a more balanced flavor.
