Appearance - Pours a pale amber with a thin line of frothy white head.
Smell - Pink grapefruit, lemon, biscuity malts, hint of sea salt and coriander, light floral and citrus hops.
Taste - Tart and bitter pink grapefruit, along with lemon peel and a nice touch of saltiness. The light malts and floral hops balance this out nicely.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. A little dry and sticky on the palate.
Overall - A refreshing gose that makes grapefruit shine like a star. I'm dreaming of having this on a patio (as I watch the temperatures drop here in Canada... it is February after all).

Slightly hazy gold color. The yellow head had disappeared by the time I wrote the previous sentence. No lacing. A few mixed size bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. It looks more like a dark ginger ale than a beer.
Smells of light citrus grapefruit and candied ginger. Swirling the glass kicked up a hint of barnyard that was gone in seconds.
Tart flavor that bounces back and forth between grapefruit and basic gose lactic acid. Slightly salty. Slightly sweet at times. Mild malt. Picks up some light bitters, probably from the grapefruit peel. The aftertaste is of mildly bitter grapefruit.
Tongue tingling and medium bubble foam more typical of a soft drink. Slightly astringent, possibly from the grapefruit peels.
This hits 4 of the 5 primary flavors, skipping umami. Very satisfying. The only improvement I can think of would be to find some way to build a more stable head.
