Sweet and fruity brew. Distinctly candy tasting at first. Well, actually it still tastes like candy. Orange marmalade with a bitter and woody finish. Long bitter aftertaste of candied grapefruit peel. The aroma is quite intense with gardenia and grilled pineapple.
I hate to think what might be in this stuff, if you read about the brewery. I don't think I want "nano-encapsulates" and "superfoods" in my beer, but it tastes fine, though more like spiced canned peaches. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Whole Foods, naturally. Golden orangey color in the glass.
