A rich and decadent high gravity rye stout brewed with tons of chocolate and filled to the brim with vanilla, banana, and peanuts.

MOP had a few variants but the Banana Split was probably my favorite. It is similar to Extra Fudge but doesn't have the metallic alkaline taste. The banana is only on the nose for me. The beer has an ice cream feel with all the vanilla going on.

Black body, brown head, light lacing. Smells captures the peanuts and fudge really well, as it warms hints of banana, vanilla, and booze peak through. Taste is more balanced with the banana coming through beautifully atop the vanilla and fudge, roasted malts and peanuts round out the finish to be sneaky robust for a sweet stout, booze is hidden better than in the nose. Feel is warm, chewy, somewhat roasted but definitely malty and the adjuncts help elevate. The wife liked it
