Brewed with our friends at Goldfinger Brewing Company, this traditional ale was brewed with finest Bavarian malts and Goldfinger’s hand selected German Tettnanger hops.
The crispness and quafability are a result of fermenting this ale at colder temperatures more traditional for a lager.

Had on tap. Clear golden body, finger of white foam. Aromas of kolsch yeast, lemon, a hint of grassy hops. Taste is all about the beautiful yeast: baguette, mild fresh field grain, cracker, with lemon zest and grassy hops balancing. Feel is crisp and clean yet lighter bodied. One of the better kolsch I have had in a long time.

I had this on draft 7/24/23 @ the Hopleaf.
See-through orange appearance.
Minimal off-white head; decent lacing remained.
Fresh flowers, raw oats & faint soap notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Fresh flowers & honeyed grain flavors up front; oats & faint soap notes on the finish.
Robust & enjoyable, especially considering the lower a.b.v.
