Juice Pants is back and as hazy and velvety as ever, but this time we bombarded the recipe with Riwaka hops! Showcasing juicy tropical notes of guava and passionfruit, this 7% IPA has big citrus waves of grapefruit and lemon. Don't forget to put on your Juice Pants for this one.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (~10% clarity) medium and bright orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, grapefruit citrus, hints of blood orange. Then turns into a tropical melon and berry sweetness. Somewhat resinous on the end. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange, grapefruit, blood orange, lots of citrus. Has a tropical berry and melon sweetness underneath. Sweet blueberry and ripe cantaloupe on the finish. Juicy. (4.25)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Lower to moderate carbonation. Thick on the mouthfeel. Juicy and sweetness linger. (4.00)
Compared to Untitled Art Hazy IIPA 13 8/24/22: Pours a similar appearance. Stronger aromas. More juicy orange, grapefruit citrus. More tropical and sweet berry and melon notes. less lemon citrus, citrus flower, and grassy herbal notes. Less bitter. Sweeter and juicier.
Compared to Junkyard Mullet Power 8/24/22: Similar flavors, yet heavier and sweeter.
Overall: A nice and juicy NEIPA here. Showcases the Riwaka hops as describes with orange and grapefruit citrus, with passionfruit. Also contains a juicy melon and tropical berry flavor as well. Leans slightly heavier and sweeter for the ABV. The flavor is there though. Juicy citrus + tropical. Slightly sweet. Very good stuff. (Rating: 4.16)

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, pineapple, orange and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp piney bitterness.

Yellow to gold in color with a hazy complexion and a half inch of creamy off white on top. Heavy, soapy lacing. The aroma is of vegetal to melon and lime and lemon hops. I’m tasting vegetal to lemon and lime hops. The mouth is smooth and easygoing.

Pretty straightforward hazy IPA. Riwaka really shines through here as you'd expect from the name. Not overly sweet. Mildly bitter. Easy drinking. Very nice IPA.
