Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE tan head (careful pouring!); a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Fresh earth, mild cream, mild orange peel & faint dill pickle notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & mild cream flavors up front; dill pickle & mild oak dryness on the finish.
The barrel comes through here, even though it's a small percentage of the blend, but this was mild & not very enjoyable.
