A plain old Berliner Weisse? Feels like a time warp back to 2007 or so, when these were all the rage. Before the pastry sour abominations took over… it was a simpler time.
Bright pale gold, a finger or two of foam, bright clarity.
Nondescript aroma, wheaty with a little lactobacillus twang and sulfur.
Lightly tart and wheaty, simple and easy drinking, carb seems a touch low. Dry wheat cracker aftertaste.
A great Summer refresher, and palate cleanser with food.
