An IPA built for anytime drinking, Lil’ Pulpy keeps the “big” profile intact—just without the hefty ABV. Double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado, its bursting with juicy mango, ripe pineapple, and a touch of dankness.

With the high hopes of delivering all the big beer flavor in a small alcohol package, Maplewood reduces their IPA to a drinkable, sessionable strength.
Pale and cloudy with golden and orange hues, Lil' Pulpy builds a creamy eggshell froth with a perfumy bouquet of citrus, tropical fruit and a curious herbal scent ahead of a dry sweetness of wafers, cereal and shortbread. While the waves of hops rush in quickly, they bring a fruitiness of mango, orange, white grapefruit, pineapple and pawpaw. Trending malty-dry and crisply bitter, the finish is a mix of fruit peel, spruce and hemp.
Medium bodied and quite refreshing, the reduced IPA drinks more like a pale ale or a session ale. The hops of Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado need a little more of a malt backbone to sell the hazy IPA taste and texture more. As is, a more west coast approach might be better.

Looks like pineapple juice in a pint glass. Poured cloudy with a short head. It is neither off putting nor inviting on aroma and taste. Easy drinker with a short finish. Slightly juicy and tangy.
“Double dry hopped” had me have low expectations. I’d drink this again, but wouldn't search for it.
